These strings are great. Nice crisp, clear, and strong tone. They're great for everything from country to metal as long as you put them on the right guitar. The treble strings are bright, but not overly bright. The bass strings are warm, but still crisp and punchy. They have great punch and a nice, full, and rounded sound on all of the strings. ... Overall, I have always been satisfied with using Ernie Balls. They are cheap strings that sound and feel anything but cheap. I will continue using Ernie Balls long into the future, and it will take a pretty great string to convince me otherwise. [read more on Audiofanzine]

I used these strings almost exclusively for years. The gauges are specifically chosen and are unique, a high E with a gauge of 10, and a low E with a gauge of 46.
